Hey Steve, I loved Heartland - the look, the world, the music, the cheeky use of Astronaut Charlie appearing as an enemy…but there was an aspect of the game I never understood.

There was the good book and the bad book - iirc the good would appear in certain locations on the first level and bad in others - so once you’d got the good you could destroy the bad

But then each level had good and bad pages and iirc it wasn’t obvious which were good or bad until you picked them up and if you shot the good page it was instant game over.

I never got to the end (tight level time limits) to know what happened if you finished the game with a mix of good and bad pages, so wondering how you were supposed to play the game to get the “perfect” game of all good pages and destroyed all the bad?
